General Information about Hope Yoga

Class times are every Tuesday from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. No childcare is provided. Please come a few minutes early so that we can start each class on time.If you have never attended my yoga class, I require you to complete a registration form.

If you have a yoga mat, please bring it as I have a very limited supply of loaner yoga mats. I will supply all other props you may need. If you think you might really be interested in practicing yoga, I recommend you purchase a yoga mat. You can get a decent yoga mat at Target, Marshall's, T. J. Max or through the internet - I recommend HuggerMugger.com as a great online resource for yoga mats and other supplies.

Flexibility is not a requirement - it is a product of the practice. I read recently that students who practiced yoga regularly for 8 weeks showed a 39% increase in flexibility!

Finally and most importantly, I teach a Christian approach to yoga - always seeking to strengthen your Christian faith as well as your body and mind through the practice of yoga. I hope to see you in one of my classes soon!

Directions to Hope Yoga

Hope Yoga is held at Hope Presbyterian Church at 8500 Walnut Grove Road in Cordova. The yoga classes are held in room 303 in the north end of the main building (north side of the sanctuary near the gym).

The best way to find the yoga class is to enter the church grounds from the traffic light on Walnut Grove Road. If you park in the west parking lot nearest the church, you can come in thru entrance 3, cross the foyer, turn right and find room 303 down the hallway.
